I read 15 novels a year. This is the best I’ve ever read. Great weave of real events together with poignant emotion. Loved the dialog too

There’s was a right way and a wrong way to exit Afghanistan. Bentley does a great job of showing both.

Thank you for the insight you provide in Forgotten War. A great fictional account of the Afghanistan withdraw, with the insight of the great men and women who gave their all.

This novel contributes to a better understanding of the tragedy of war on the mental health of the surviving combatants.

Read 3-5 books per week, have never left a review. All of the books in this series are very engaging, and show the best of those that protect our freedom which too many take for granted. Cannot wait for the next one.

Gripping from the first to last page. Hats off to Don Bentley’s writing skill of pulling the reader into the story and into a seat on a roller coaster ride. At the end, I said, What A Ride (engrossing and emotional) especially with the reference to the 13 service members killed at the Gate! Thank you Don.
