Description

Between the pissed-off creatures that want her dead and the fallen angel who just wants her, Nephilim and demon hunter Lily Marks is ready for a quiet 20 minutes with her favorite hamburger. If only her life could actually be that simple.

It’s bad enough that she’s even civil with a fallen angel like Julian. She’s supposed to kill his kind, not flirt with the possibility of daringly-hot sexy times—and he puts her job at the Sanctuary at risk. And now that she’s a suspected traitor, it’s just a matter of time before “my life is complicated” becomes “here’s hoping I survive the night.”

Everything is on the line, and Lily’s running out of time to uncover the real traitor—and she’ll need Julian’s help. That is, if he’s really there to do good. Because being a Nephilim isn’t everything it’s cracked up to be…especially when Lily’s top priority is staying alive.

I absolutely love this book it gives or it paints a picture of the original story of Neph and it gives a very good background on how they were created and what happened to the fallen angels I really enjoy this I enjoy the suspense the love and also the dedication and even the pain that leads to a healing balm I really wish that there were more Neph stories in this series but thank you for the good read

I really couldn't finish it. The main character is, what, 24 years old? I though she acted 16. I couldn't connect with her or understand any of her half assed decisions. She was ridiculous and way, way too impulsive. I do not recommend this book.

Jennifer Armentrout never disappoints with her books. When I read the info about the book (before reading it), I didn't realize it was told from duel perspectives. I loved Michael, Lily, and Julian. The story has an interesting twist on the Fallen Angel/Nephilim concept and is worth the read. Can't wait to see what else J. Lynn has in story for these characters.
