I couldn't put the book down. It is another great read in the Agent Pendergast series. I love his character. If you enjoy this series and Lincoln and Childs books in general ignore any of the bad reviews you see and read this book.

I have read many books by these co-authors and always found them spellbinding. While I enjoyed this book, I have to say it was not one of their better books. I was disappointed.

Fascinating story, interesting characters abound in White Fire. Preston and Child have outdone themselves in this latest Pendergast book. Can't wait for more adventures and hope to read more about Corrie and Captain Stacy Bowdree.

What a fantastic book. Just when you think these two guys couldn't possibly put together another astonishing tale, again unfolds a delicious thriller. I enjoyed this book as much if not more than their other novels. The insertion of other literature and intertwining stories was very crafty and clever. I am grateful for the internal dictionary in my iPad knowing that I always pick up some new vocabulary while reading their prose. Great job! Cheers, Mark

Great story, but all the fluff added at the end by the publisher inflated the size of the novel I thought I was buying. Pages not numbered in the print version but counted here are really false advertising.

I have read every book they have written! Why bring in other characters ... The newer novels just aren't' as well written, interesting or complex.
  • Great read

  • Horrible

This story was a terrible theft of the Cheshire CT home invasion in 2007 and should never have been released. Shame on you and the writers for stealing a horrible tragedy for your own use. Your story was poorly written and I knew the murderer when I was one third of the way through the book. I should have put the book down after the first murders and put it out of my mind. I tried to give the book zero stars but it wouldn't post my comment unless I gave it at least one.

I am a slow reader it usually ames me a month or more to finish a good book. I could not put this down finished it in 2 weeks which for me is amazing. If you haven’t read any of the Pendergast novels start form the beginning, with the Relic, reliquary, The Cabinet of Curiosities, Still Live with Crows, Brimstone, Dace of Death, and the Wheel of Darkness. They are all great books. This one was particularly gruesome.
