Steven Gray is a man confronted with pain and terrifying visions. The investigation leads them to the Downshollow Abbey, located at The center of the North York Moors. It is here they discover The Church of The Light, a small, but thriving religious faction. But this is more than just a destructive cult. There is something ancient, powerful, and alien buried beneath as Steven Gray discovers when he is forced to confront the leader of the church, a man they call The Father, a man formerly known as Joseph Sebastian, once the idealistic pastor of the secluded town of Downshollow.
