The momentum builds until it's nearly impossible to put it down. I love Georgia Davis. She is as tough as she has to be but she is all girl.

What an intriguing story and a classic detective/mystery. Georgia Davis is a complex personality, tough enough but with rounded edges and someone you can't help but to like. She's flawed, of course, but has a moral center that is her compass. Georgia was suspended from the police force and is working as a PI as she awaits reinstatement.
Georgia accepts a case to try to clear her client who is accused of murdering a high school girl. As she works the case, she finds there's much more than that on the surface. The story moves at just the right pace and it's like peeling an onion, discovering more layers each time. There were surprises I hadn't anticipated but should have since the clues were present. What was even more compelling was distinguishing who was right and wrong wasn't easy or clear cut, even with the facts in front of you.
I like this character and have already downloaded the next book in the series. This is a solid start to the series and a good story.

Georgia Davis, PI, is a suspended Chicago police officer. While investigating for the defense attorney of a wrongly accused man, Georgia's character and story is developed. There is an emotional connection made with the reader. I thoroughly enjoyed the Ellie Foreman series and the Georgia Davis series is equally interesting.
I have received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Easy Innocence grabs you from the first page and doesn't let go. You keep wanting to know more and more. Can you spell "Cover-Up"? No one wants to know the truth. It's so easy to blame a mentally ill guy. What's the truth? Libby Fischer Hellmann takes you off the garden path of cover-up, to the truth through twists and turns. I like this new PI and can't wait to read more.

You're going to want to know who Georgia Davis is. This is the place to find out. When a popular teenager is murdered, a local autistic man who just happened to be nearby gets blamed. It's up to Georgia to find out the truth. Fans of Rizzoli and Isles will find this right up their alley, but almost any mystery fan who starts it is going to enjoy it. Libby is a terrific author and one of my faves.
