Description

From "one of the top ten storytellers in the world" (Los Angeles Times), Jeffrey Archer's The Fourth Estate sees two power-hungry men prepared to risk everything in a battle to control the largest newspaper empire in the world.

Richard Armstrong narrowly escaped Hitler's atrocities in Eastern Europe on his courage and his wits—skills that served him well in peacetime. Having turned a struggling Berlin newspaper into a success story seemingly overnight, Armstrong made a name for himself—and more than a few enemies along the way…

Meanwhile, young Keith Townsend enters the international arena, armed with a world-class education and a sense of entitlement to match. Charged with growing his father's newspaper business into a global media force, he and Armstrong are bound to become sworn rivals—until they arrive at the edge of collapse and will do whatever it takes to stay alive in the game…or die trying.

This was an old story and as boring as the first time around. Sorry I purchased it!!!!! It wasn't worth it and to be taken in by being led to believe it was a NEW book. A refund? Yes! I can't rate this book.

Who did you write to in order to get a refund ? I would like my money back. Read this book four years ago, but was duped into buying it as it says published in FBI 2013 and it clearly was not !!

This has happened to me. It is very misleading to the reader and unfair. To their credit when I told them of this they quickly refunded me. Still this is troublesome

This is a great book BUT iBooks is presenting it as if it is a brand new title (2013). It is NOT. The Fourth Estate was first published in hard copy by Jeffrey Archer in 1996. I notice that iBooks does this a lot in the "Details" tab---publishes old titles (this one is 17 years old) electronically but makes them sound like they are brand new. It's a bit misleading. Why not disclose the original date it was published?
