Description

Josh Flagg began working in high-end real estate immediately after graduating from Beverly Hills High in 2004. Within the first four years of his career, Josh participated in several record sales, including the highest sale in the history of Brentwood Park and the highest sales on the exclusive Roxbury, Foothill and Monovale Drives, making him one of Los Angeles' hottest agents. Flagg has participated in sales up to $25,000,000.
In his new book, “Million Dollar Agent: Brokering the Dream,” Josh writes about having travelled to more than fifty countries, his years growing up in one of the most famous cities in the world (Beverly Hills) and how to develop a successful career in high-end real estate.

I hate to sound like a hater, but I am completely disappointed in my purchase of this book. Josh Flagg tries to make a point that he is not full of himself and is really down to earth. These statements are completely not true. The entire first half of this book is rantings concerning Josh's "struggles" in early life. What a joke. At the same time as trying to convince the reader he is "self-made" he shares stories of totalling luxury cars, owning his own exquisite apartment in high school, and summers spent at private camps for the rich and vacations in Europe. I purchased this book thinking it would better my understanding of real estate and possibly enhance my sales tactics. Josh Flagg's formula for success is sadly: just knowing the right people. Josh, you seem like a great guy. But don't tell me you've written up "Pulitzer prize winning articles" in your local newspaper when your own biography reads like crap. Your sentence structures are short and choppy. Many of your sentences are out of place and, quite often, I noticed you repeated paragraphs (I.e. your statement that you don't normally drink anymore because it gives you heartburn was repeated three times). Please do us all a favour and stick to real estate. Wait, one more favour, could I have my $9.99 back?

Fun, easy to read book that brings you into Josh's personal and professional life. Needs some editing with a few repeated sentences and typos, but very much enjoyed learning more about this "Bravo TV" reality show agent that seems the most down to earth and "real" of the entire cast. Funny considering Josh sees himself as the unusual, quirky outsider...

I thought this was suppose to be the good bad and ugly but it didn't mention anything about Josh being accused of any crimes. True or not being a biography and that's a big issue you'd think he would of touched on it. I'm a big fan of the tv show Million Dollar Listing and of Josh, who is the most entertaining of all the realtors on the show, but the book left me feeling a little cheated.
