This book series is so good, it was adventurous sweet and addicting. I read the series @ my local library loved them so much wanted to purchase it. It is basically about this girl who has a friend who's been abused so the girl hides her. The police show up the next night so the girl dresses her up in Amish clothes and sends her next door. She lives right next door to Amish it's basically just about her life with her friends and Amish friends. Even though I am twenty I believe any age person would like this book, it's well written and the best children's series by Beverly Lewis. The other series she wrote is more for younger kids. I would recommend this book for any girl that loves romance adventure and mystery. This is a volume remember, I prefer volumes they make you look like your reading the biggest book ever, the setting is in Pennsylvania on a farm,
