The first part of this book was horrible. I almost stopped reading it. I stuck with it and found the middle to be entertaining. But, just as the book climaxed, the wheels came off and the storyline resolved with a disappointing thud. I can’t recommend this book.

Less than 30 days, already done with book 5. Had the book a while and I guess timing was a factor for getting started. Haven’t been sucked in since Patricia Cornwell and John Sanford.

[no spoilers] The late author, Stieg Larsson, did an amazing job giving readers two main protagonists who had unique depth & illustrious backgrounds. Then, he managed to naturally get these two characters to work together to solve a realistic-complexed mystery, was all very impressive! I normally read to wind down for the night, so on average, 10-25 pages before going to bed. After I reached close to the middle of this book, I found myself reading the final 450 pages in a handful of hours.

I’m so surprised by the amount of people saying they couldn’t get through this....it’s such an amazing read and really quite simple to get through if you have high school level intellect. Can’t wait to read the next one! Finished the book in three days.
