I loved the book, but the author has many errors. I had to read book twice because I was so confused. I eventually noticed the second time reading. I thought maybe I read wrong but I did not. The author confuses characters a lot, locations, and even the gender of them many times. Great story line besides that though.

Thanks for this great new series, and thanks for the iPad books versions. I didn't discover this series until Juggler, loved it, bought Destroyer, realized I needed Fleet, found it on my iPad - and now know I may never buy another hardback. Please add the Kzin war books to the iPad soon...

Do yourself a favor and read a couple of Niven's short stories first (Neutron Star, At The Core, and others). Even if you don't, this is still a good point to get into his "Known Space" universe. Great storytelling, and absolutely amazing world-building and races. If you like Sci-Fi or technology at all, you have to read this series.
