Description

At fourteen, Nick Gautier thinks he knows everything about the world around him. Streetwise, tough and savvy, his quick sarcasm is the stuff of legends. . .until the night when his best friends try to kill him. Saved by a mysterious warrior who has more fighting skills than Chuck Norris, Nick is sucked into the realm of the Dark-Hunters: immortal vampire slayers who risk everything to save humanity.

Nick quickly learns that the human world is only a veil for a much larger and more dangerous one: a world where the captain of the football team is a werewolf and the girl he has a crush on goes out at night to stake the undead.

But before he can even learn the rules of this new world, his fellow students are turning into flesh eating zombies. And he’s next on the menu.

As if starting high school isn't hard enough. . .now Nick has to hide his new friends from his mom, his chainsaw from the principal, and keep the zombies and the demon Simi from eating his brains, all without getting grounded or suspended. How in the world is he supposed to do that?

Kenyon uses some kinda magic to place you in the book. It feels like you are there with everyone in the book. I love this series. I’ve read it four different times and now I’m buying all the books so I can read em again.

Infinity is a the first book in a new YA spin-off to the Dark-Hunter series. Told from the perspective of a 14 year old Nick Gautier it is the story of what his teen years could be. When he is attacked for going against his “friends” he is saved by a man who it turns out is embroiled in a paranormal world Nick knew nothing about. Many people Nick knows are more than they seem. When kids from his school start turning into living zombies Nick must find a way to save them, and stop the ones who wish to use them to control humans. I wasn’t sure about this being a YA series, but I loved it as much as I do the Dark-Hunter books. You don’t need to read that series to enjoy this one, but I think this series enhances the experience for those who love the Dark-Hunter world.

From the moment I picked this book up I never wanted to put it down. And since I read pretty slowly, it is saying something when I volunteerly finish a book in a week. Buy this. Enjoy it.

I have to stay that all together the book was amazing to read, a gripping plot, great characters, good description, and an amazing story board. Sadly the story get confusing and way out of topic in the middle, in my point of view. I loved the beginning and the personality you were able to get of Nick in the first chapter and the ending was great. All together it was a good book.
