Conceived and birthed during the early weeks of the 2020-2021 covid pandemic, the writing of a series of encouraging daily devotionals was requested by the leadership of Stonerise Healthcare, a faith-based administrative services company in West Virginia. The author, serving as Manager of Chaplaincy Services with them, eagerly complied.
However, as a pastor, he desired to take the readers a bit deeper into the Scriptures, leading them to develop a personal relationship with God. He wanted to help them to understand God’s Word and to encourage them to walk by faith in every area of their lives. He believes that is the way to survive and even thrive during the deep and dark valleys of life, such as our worldwide pandemic. By doing so, we can then know the special wisdom, comfort and encouragement that comes directly from our loving, eternal God.
