I loved Clara & Xavier’s much anticipated story! How their childhood friendship morphed into true love, with the exception of a few bumps along the way, made me really appreciate Clara so much more. And omg the VHS tape was simply the best!

My Scorned Best Friend is the 7th book in the Greene Family series, that follows Xavier Greene and his best friend since kindergarten, Clara. This is probably the most anticipated read in the series (the build up is real), and Piper killed it! Xavier was drafted to the NFL and is now the starting quarterback for the San Francisco Kingsmen, and he asked her to come with him. But Clara has her own life and responsibilities in there small Alaskan hometown. During the off season he'd come home and hang with her, and often during the season she would visit him while he played. That is until two years ago, lines got blurred and everything changed. Now Xavier is left to make amends and restore their friendship once more, but will more come out of this? X and Clara are so cute together, I truly believe that they are destined to be together 💛 I loved the glimpses of the past that were written throughout the story, I felt like it really helped show their friendship since they did started on the outs in the story. This is probably my favorite book in the series thus far!

What can I say other than this book seriously had me all in my feels. I have been waiting so long for Xavier and Clara’s book and it was amazing. I felt every emotion possible reading this book and was so sucked in. I hoped that Xavier would make some sort of grand gesture to make everything up to Clara and I am happy to say my expectations were surpassed. I love this series and am so glad it’s back. I received an advanced reader’s copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is book 7 in the Green Family series and Xavier and Clara’s story . They were best friends since grade school but one night together almost ruined that friendship . These two finally found their HEA together .

This is Xavier and Clara's story and I have waited from the very first book in this series to see them find their happily ever after romance. Its a second chance romcom story and we get to hear all the details on what split them up a few years before. I do suggest you read A Greene Family Vacation before you read this one because it does refer to some things that happened in that book. Also while this book can stand alone, you will enjoy this story much more if you start with the first book in the series. Xavier and Clara throughout this story and series were besties who grew up together and whose moms were besties too. This story made me sigh, laugh, get annoyed with Xavier and even cry a few tears. It was absolutely everything the authors have built it up to be and more. I loved it so much. I received a complimentary early release copy of this e-book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

All the little hints throughout the other books really made the anticipation for this so worth it! I loved this instalment of the series, we finally get a look at who these two are and I love them so much! 💗 Clara is strong and independent without being mean and unlikeable. I liked that she wore her emotions on her sleeve when it was necessary. 💜 Xavier wasn't what I was expecting but in the best possible way. He was definitely husbandoo material after he finally admitted to himself what everyone else already knew!👀 I loved these two together their friendship was so well developed that you felt your heart break when you're reading about what happened to drive these two apart. Love, love the Greene's👌🏻💚 Narration; 🎧 The narration for this one was one of my favorites! Aaron Shedlock kills it was Xavier. Giving him vulnerability and dominance one never overpowering the other! 💙 Holly Warren was amazing! I loved her performance as Clara she really brought the character to life!💓 Overall this is such a great addition to the already amazing series! I’m very torn about this book. One the one hand, I’ve been looking forward to Clara and Xavier’s friends to lovers story since the beginning of the series. I love this trope and it’s hard to disappoint me. But as we watched the deterioration of their friendship throughout other books, and we see the tool that X turned into, I wondered how the author was going to turn this around. I wanted Clara to make him grovel. I wanted her to have a relationship with someone else and Xavier had to win her over. I wanted him to be as humiliated…okay, maybe just hurt a bit…as she was when he flaunted that bimbo, I mean model. I guess he groveled a bit, but not enough for me. I’m glad they found their way together and I’m glad readers didn’t need to wait until the end of the series to give them their HEA. But I’m hoping fro have my socks knocked off with Mandy and Chevelle’s stories. Still a 4 star read.

I have been anxiously waiting for Xander and Clara’s story. Xander and Clara became best friends in Kindergarten. Everyone in their small town of Sunrise Bay Alaska assumes that there is more than friendship between them now that they are adults. Two years ago something happened, and Xander and Clara’s friendship ended. With a little help from the meddling grannies Ethel, Dory and Midge, can Xander and Clara get past what caused their rift? This is a great friends to lovers romance and a great addition to this series. I was given an arc of this book from the author for my honest review.

I’ve been intrigued by Xavier and Clara’s story since the start of the Greene Family series, and My Scorned Beat Friend did not disappoint!! All of my questions about their friendship and how it fell apart were answered — and it was a lovely journey as X and Clara repaired their friendship and eventually took a chance on love. The intervention scene with his family had me in tears; everyone knew how perfect Clara was for him, but X was so afraid to take that leap. I appreciated how there was minimal drama from outside forces when it came to X and Clara. It was all about X needing to get over himself and setting aside his self-imposed fears when it came to their relationship. Narrators Aaron Shedlock and Holly Warren did a fabulous job of bringing these two characters to life, and I loved escaping into this world once again! I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.
