The whole hallowed series is excellent! This book deserves more than 5 stars. Rachel’s give Hodin the right to stay in the church for a prescribed length of time. She also gave him a bit of protection but he will lose it because of all the schemes and plots he is up to. You have the vampires, demons all with their own agenda. But you have Rachel who is for many things trying to make things better for all. I love all the mini plots in the book! What is best is the birthday surprise! Read this awesome book and I hope there is another!
