T he e story was okay but way too similar to book #1. In several places the author’s word choices and phrasing sound more British than American. When Sadie refers to Boxing Day the kig is up; Ms Dark is in the dark about American culture. Needs more research into Anchorage as a city; it’s far larger and more mainstream than described in the book.

I cannot get enough of Sadie Price’s life/adventures! Rylie Dark does a great job with character development, suspense and plot twists. This has been one of the most enjoyable new series I’ve read in a long time.
