People often appear in the gospels, with no more than a few sentences. This work opens up the inner worlds of a soldier guarding a tomb, a youth who loses his cloak, a madman who lives among tombs, a boy who shares his food, and a woman battles seven demons. What surprises us is not only how much can be imagined, but how much courage and fierce love are present in these stories.
