This was a slow start for me, but I soon couldn’t wait to jump in and hear all about Maggie and Bryce. My heart hurt for Maggie as she struggled with family, loss, and illness. However, the ending of this book was not necessarily happy ever after, but a lesson in the power of love.

It’s Nicholas Sparks at his best! But it’s definitely a tear jerker so be prepared! Loved it!!!

This story has all the feels. A definite re-read because I will miss these characters.

Excellent and a compelling read for anyone who knows about true love in the real world. It’s not perfect but true for a lifetime - the beautiful, the heartbreaking, and the tough.

This book told a beautiful story that was sad and actually made me cry. But in the end and the begging something wonderful comes….a meeting for two people that changes their lives. I think it is typical Nicholas Sparks, so if you like his writing, read this

Nicholas Sparks doesn’t miss! Here is another home run by the seasoned pro author. He takes the reader through four love stories that will pull at your heart strings. First Aunt Linda, then Bryce, then Ocracoke and finally Mark. A must read, but with a box of tissue next to you.

He did it. Again. With every book I read, I can't fathom the next could be as enchanting as the last but here I am crying and smiling at the same time. Definitely another great one.

My first Nicholas Sparks book and wow, I’m a fan! Such a sweet, emotional book. I look forward to reading more from him.

Good book it is a tearjerker
