    The Society is so outlandish it is hard to stomach. I did enjoy the four friends who rallied to help find the culprit trying to kill the Duke.

    The writing is better in this series. There was not so much repetitive thoughts. I did not need to scan fast through most pages as I have in previous books. There was probably to much to get in the story to waste words. I like what you write and I will go looking for more

    This book clearly needs a flow chart to keep the players straight. You got to love Rex the asking and the invisible Mary. They are both surprised when they discover the chemistry they both have. I enjoyed this book and will start ok 2 tonight. Enjoy!!!...April H, FL

    This is the first in a companion series to the Domestic Discipline series. They follow the niece of England's spymaster and her friends who are determined to help him protect the country by going under cover and doing their own spying. This book follows Mary as she tries to balance her second Season and her spying all while unexpectedly finding herself attracted to her target. There is plenty of intrigue and action as well as a romance all twined together in one.

    Historical romances are where my love of reading started. I love that Golden Angel writes these strong female characters. There’s more than meets the eye to this group of friends on a secret mission. Love seeing Mary find out what really goes on in “the society” and not just what she sees while out in the ton.

    So Angel does it again!! Made me love the main characters and their friends and family! I’m so excited to continue on with the series and get to meet the rest of the gang. My only complain is that I didn’t feel the connection between Mary and Rex in the beginning. Like I didn’t really get why they were interested in each other. But I did end up loving them by the end.
