This was a nice change of pace from the last three volumes of non-stop action. Though not to everyone’s taste, I quite enjoyed seeing the growth of every character. I look forwards to seeing Aiz’s backstory unravel in the next volumes.

It’s ok. It’s exactly like book 8 which is ok. These books are mainly for the author to decompress from action (and maybe the reader) It is a tiny bit better than book 9 which is his worst book but necessary for 10 and 11. Over all it’s ok............but Lilly becoming level ......is awesome

So yes this a prequel book but only kinda. You get back a few more back stories that help show how far some these characters have grown. Lily and Mikoto/haruhime parts especially good. Really look forward to status updates and more character development. Good overall.

It’s just a throwback prequel book.
