Wonderful series! These books are great, love the stories between friends, and the characters from Kristen’s other great series showing up. I waited until all 4 dream books were out before starting to read them because I am impatient and can’t stand waiting for the next book to come out. The only problem now is once I’m done that’s it. Oh well, I’m sure she will have something new to read out. She is always a go to author, I know I will most likely love what she puts out.

First off I must say I am a huge fan of Kristen Ashley books. Don’t mind her following her muse in whatever direction it takes to get a good story. And she tells great stories. But this one was a yawner. I kept waiting for something to happen, for the story to start and it just never did. Instead there were pages of Ryn liking white meat chicken and Boone liking thigh meat chicken and how they both liked lots of ketchup. I kid you not. This is the entire story line. And I struggled with the main female character. She was suppose to be this tough, independent take care of everyone else female, but she came off as more immature and ditzy. An example is Ryn’s conversation with Boone about whether he was her official maybe boyfriend. What??? Sounds more like a middle schooler conversation than a twenty-seven year old independent stripper. Then there are the pages and pages of Ryn’s self talk monologues that made me want self talk myself out of finishing the book. Fortunately I can go and reread the author’s other books that were exceptional stories and slip this one to back of the bottom of the book shelf.

It was ok, had too much of social justice warrior feel.

I'm so happy that this spinoff is living up to everything I loved about the Rock Chick Series. Not only do we get the perfect spinoff, but we also get to see all the old crews from the Rock chicks and their hot bunch, to the Chaos crew and even mentions of Knight. I'm a big fan of the group of girls that have your back, and the group of guys that will go all in to help protect. It makes for any drama that happens well worth it when you see all of them group together when one is in trouble. Plus there is always some form of funny antics going on with the woman. I was a big fan of Ryn right from the start. I won't lie and say I wasn't worried about her and Boone when she turned him down in book one, but what that inevitably showed us was a woman who expected more and relayed that in one of the best ways I've seen in a book. I won't say much more than that so you can experience it for yourself. Ryn was just an all around likable heroine even if she had some baggage with her family. I respected her and I like how she communicated with Boone. Boone had a bit of a rough start with me but quickly turned that around. He has just as much baggage as Ryn has and like I mentioned above, it was that rough start that showed why Ryn initially turned him down and what she expected. It was so worth it. I loved it and I want more!
