Not a single likable or interesting character in this entire book. Depressing waste of my time and money.

It was somewhat slow to develop

Good book, good plot, however accusing the person of being involved in a disappearance and possibly murder of another person when he had a concussion, was found unconscious, with blood all over the fireplace mantel, seemed odd. In no world, would the person with a head wound, found unconscious be accused of a crime. Pretty sure he didn’t throw his own head to the mantel and split it open.
