I don’t know if the author was contractually obligated to point out every attraction of Galaxy’s Edge (knowing Disney, it wouldn’t surprise me) but this book reads like a nonstop brochure for the theme park. Even when the main character’s first trip into Black Spire is over (which is shop after shop, product promotion after product promotion), the author finds ways to incorporate offerings from the theme park into the text that rip you out of the story and remind you its basically one giant ad. I’m confident I could now order an appetizer, entree (or two) and a round of drinks using their “Star Wars” name without glancing at the menu in the theme park. So, I guess there’s that to be said.
