Apologies to readers that like this volume. This review is for others that may not like what happens in here (no spoilers given). There is a lot of descriptive gore in this volume towards the end. Too much for me. If not for the story having been excellent until this volume (5/5 until this volume), I would have given this volume a rating of 1/5. Dropping this novel as it became too gore-filled (in a disturbing to read way) to continue for my tastes. That and having to read the story from the POV of a villain doing horrible deeds in a first person context is incredibly unpleasant.
