It was a good book from start to finish. I could have done without the addition of Linus's screen play writing interspersed within the story, but I really enjoyed the story overall.

I totally enjoyed reading One Look by Christie Ridgway, book 1 in her new series One and Only. This is actually a revised version of her book Take My Breath away with extra scenes added. Poppy Walker is determined to restore her family’s hillside cabins with almost no budget, the help of her young son, and against the advice of her siblings. Ryan wants to rent one of these cabins before they are ready. She tries to say no but he offers her a sum she just can’t turn down. Little does she know that Ryan is actually a celebrity in hiding from himself, his brother, and the world. He can’t believe he has encountered someone who doesn’t know who he is, Ryan Hamilton. Ms Ridgway once again wrote a wonderful story that draws you into the story from the page one. As with many of her books, there are funny scenes, unexpected drama, and definitely chemistry between Ryan and Poppy. The addition of Poppy’s son, Mason, adds another layer to this story. I highly recommend this book to other readers. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
