Description

Boston socialite Morgan Lett is having a run of bad luck. Her fiancé just dumped her for her stepsister, the charity foundation she’s given her life to is in danger of folding, and now, the gorgeous man she bid on and won at a masquerade bachelor auction turns out to be a cold-hearted jerk…and her new employer.

Millionaire Alexander Bishop needs the best wife money can buy. In order to inherit his family business, he has to get engaged—and Morgan, with her beauty and pedigree, is the perfect candidate. Her sharp tongue may drive him crazy, but she needs money to save the foundation she loves…and he needs a fiancée.

It’s a flawless arrangement. No strings, no love. But soon she has him craving more than the platonic terms of their agreement. Only Alexander won’t allow need—no matter how hot it burns—to threaten everything he’s built.

This lady starts out not knowing how strong she is. Nice to see her progression finding her strength. The man starts out wanting to be emotionally stunted. Nice to see how he evolves, too. Together, they are a couple I enjoyed reading about.

OMG, right from the words "But the prince ended up being a cheating asshat, and Cinderella, who really wasn’t all that sweet in the first place, moved out, taking the prince for half his kingdom and his entire fleet of carriages." I was hooked. Seriously I texted my best friend and said, I'm so buying you a copy of this book. This book is chock full of humor. You are either laughing or drooling , no in between. Just as the humor scenes are hilarious, the under the cover sheets are Spicy. Not a dull moment in this book! Morgan is an amazing character. She hides her pain behind snarky humor that leaves you rolling in your seat, but when she lets down her guard, you fall for her. Alex is also amazing. He's a deep character, not a wealthy playboy but more of a stay home and read, love avoiding, big hearted, sexy Millionare who goes after what he wants, but doesn't always know what that is. Also a shout out to the mom of the year for this line that left me in stitches. “I know this makes me a bad mother to say this, but drink more wine and put in another movie.” Thank you to Naima for the early copy! I couldn't stop reading.

This is another installment of the bachelor auction series by Naima Simone that does not disappoint. This read was so hot, entertaining and wonderful. Alex and Morgan run into each other and do not like each other, but then they realize that the need to work, together both for work reasons and personal reasons. When they make a deal and decide to make sure it's a business only deal will it be or will someone end up getting hurt. This was a great read and again Naima Simone keeps you wanting more and you don't want to put the book down.

Quite enjoyable! Alexander Bishop may not want one but he needs a fiance to inherit the family business. Finding someone who the family will accept won't be easy. Morgan Lett is having a rough time. Her cheating ex fiance dumps her for her sister and now she finds out the charity she works so hard for is in danger of folding. As a pick me up she decides to bid at a bachelor auction and happens to win Alexander. Top tier jerk and unfortunately her new boss. He has a proposal though. One she simply can't turn down. Let the fun begin.... While it's a typical fake fiance story, the author did a great job of making the story fun, fresh, and interesting. Morgan and Alex are great characters that worked very well together. This is definitely a book I would recommend.
