Saigon South International School (SSIS) was founded in 1997. The origins of our school’s core values date to the very earliest years of the school when Lawrence S. Ting and Ferdinand Tsien, founders of the Phu My Hung development project of District 7 and founders of our school, first established Saigon South International School. These two men, and the families they led, established SSIS with a clear model in mind: private, independent schools of the type found most often in the northeast region of the United States. This book details the structure of the SSIS curriculum.
