Jess soon learns that no place is safe—and no one can be trusted…except for the last white knight she'd ever expect to ride to her rescue. Wow! This is one of those books that after I started it, I couldn't put it down and ended up reading it in one setting. Following Jess and Seth as they tried to find out why they Jess was targeted and tried to stay a step ahead of those out to kill her made for some edge of the seat suspense. I also enjoyed following their relationship develop as they tried to move beyond the hurts of the past to see what the future held for them. I certainly recommend this one to the reader who enjoys good Christian romance and suspense in an Amish setting. I was given a copy of this book, but a positive was not required. The opinions expressed are my own. I definitely will be looking forward to the next book in the series.
