Six-year-old Dylan has just moved from England to Melbourne Australia. His first day in a new school is stressful at any time. After hearing three boys in class talking about their cubbyhouse he tells them he can carry his cubbyhouse anywhere. after being laughed at and not accepted into the group he is alone. A few days later two of the boys are told they will be moving to another state. This is sad news, but for Dylan this is great news. Still fearing that he'll be laughed at Dylan carries his cubbyhouse to where one of the three boys lives. When Dylan shows off his cubbyhouse the reaction from the boy makes him smile.
