Really enjoyed reading this book. I looked forward to reading it every night to see what would happen next in the story line. I’m so glad it wrapped up towards the end and didn’t drag on for the whole book. It kept me interested that way.

Very disappointed by this book. The story line was rediculous. No man in that time would have treated a woman like that. The reference to her concussion was absurd as well. Medical science was so inept then.

This book was a good read but, it drug on a lot..by the end of it I was just ready for it to be finished. I did like Keene and Sophie’s story but it was just way to drawn out and I kept getting annoying that everyone was tip toeing around things.

Easy read. Great story teller. Plot, settings and character developments were very entertaining.

I could hardly put it down!

A comedy of errors. Why people should always be honest and open about their feelings. A quiet long but satisfying historical romance about not one, not two, but six characters whose lives affect each other’s in many different ways. I think all who read this story will enjoy it very much.

In reading this novel, I found the scenery, clothing for men and women, and the vocabulary used by the common folk and those of nobility to be quite accurate. The relationship between the lead characters was quite enticing at times. I would recommend this for anyone to read. LaMar
