Description

There’s no place like Haven Point for the holidays, where the snow conspires to bring two wary hearts together for a Christmas to remember

It’s been two rough years since Andrea Montgomery lost her husband, and all she wants is for her children to enjoy their first Christmas in Haven Point. But then Andie’s friend asks a favor—to keep an eye on her brother, Sheriff Marshall Bailey, who’s recovering from a hit and run. Andie will do anything for Wyn, even park her own misgivings to check on her grouchy, wounded bear of a brother.

Marshall hates feeling defenseless and resents the protective impulses that Andie brings out in him. But when a blizzard forces them together for the holidays, something in Marshall begins to thaw. Andie’s gentle nature is a salve, and her kids’ excitement for the holidays makes him forget why he never wanted a family. If only he and Andie can admit what they really want—each other—their Christmas wishes might come true after all.

What a magical, wonderfully crafted novel! A story about family, Christmas, loss and gain. Though it might be a longer length read than one is used to, it reads so fast! I’m so very glad I read this heartwarming novel. Characters are so lifelike it’s hard to imagine that they exist only in the pages and imagination of Rae Anne Thayer! Highly recommend for the most pleasant of Holiday reading!

Once again RaeAnne Thayne has brought us a wonderfully heartwarming story from Haven Point. Andie Montgomery and her two small children immediately stole my heart and they were the perfect little family to help thaw the heart of the stoic and gruff Sheriff Marshall Bailey. Helping Marshall while he heals from a recent injury would try the patience of a saint but Andie won't let her friend and Marshall's sister down. Marshall hates to rely on anyone for help but he is drawn in by Andie's calm and caring demeanor as well as her incredible children. The pairing of these two was perfect and in addition to the wonderful romance slowly developing between Marshall and Andie we get the mystery of what is going on inside Marshall's department as well as who could possibly be stalking Andie. This one has it all and it's one you don't want to miss. I highly recommend it.

Another sweet story out of Haven Point! Andrea Montgomery has been through a lot in the 2 years since she lost her husband in the line of duty. She relocated to Haven Point, and is trying to get things to settle down after the drama she went through last summer. She just wants her kids first Christmas in this town to be special! Sheriff Marshall Bailey isn't the warm and fuzzy type on a good day, and now that he's out of commission from being injured in a hit and run, he's as cranky as a bear. Andie will do just about anything for her friend Wynona ... even go check in on her brother, the man that she's nervous to be around! Marsh doesn't like needing anybody, and he tries to run off the neighborly do gooder with bad behavior, but she's not falling for it. And when her young children start to worm their way under his defenses too, he knows he's in trouble! When a freak snow storm has the little family needing a place to stay for Christmas, Marsh finds himself looking forward to the holiday more than he should!
  • Hope is here for the holidays.

Snowfall on Haven Point is the newest installation in RaeAnne Thayne’s Haven Point series. And just like its four predecessors, this book provides its readers with a warm, small town community that has the ability to believe that helping neighbors and healing hearts is always important, especially during the holiday season. This story provides a more in depth look into the character of Andie Montgomery, whom we met in Riverbend Road, as she struggles to move on while assisting her neighbor and local Sheriff, Marshall Bailey, after an unfortunate hit-and-run accident. Marshall is initially unwilling to accept the fact that with a broken leg and a forced leave of absence from work, he needs assistance, which arrives in the form of Andie courtesy of his sister Wynona. Andie and her kids politely push their way into Marshall’s home and heart, giving him the courage needed to heal and face a secret from his past to make amends. A surprise snowstorm provides the perfect backdrop for a full-blown romance between these two character, presenting them with the opportunity to open their hearts to a future together in Haven Point. RaeAnne Thayne continues to prove just why her stories are so endearing to readers everywhere. This story delivers with a tight-knit community, family ties, romance, suspense, and the hope that only the holiday season can bring. I cannot recommend this book enough to romance readers and fans alike. If you have not read the first four installments of the Haven Point series, let me encourage you to do so. You will find an openness and warmth within the fictional town and its characters, that make you want to sit in front of a roaring fire with a cup of hot chocolate and join them.
