Description

From International and Amazon Best Selling YA Author L.A. Starkey…

Let the heavens shake and the stars run from the skies. All hell is about to break loose.
The struggle between the Titans and the gods of old did not end with them.
Zeus and Prometheus’s winding path of hatred has finally gone too far, and they’ve been disallowed to fight any longer – that battle belongs to their children now.
The demand for revenge has dripped down into the next generation, because justice will have a victor. And she’s not asking anyone’s opinion on the matter.
Twins, Marcus and Nicolas, heirs to the throne of the gods and sons of the last remaining Titan, learn that the purpose of their existence is to fulfill a prophecy born of hate and despair.

They must battle for Pandora’s only daughter’s heart, a girl lost to the human world and unaware of her hidden heritage.
For four hundred years the twins have only been allowed to touch the edge of their soul mate’s dreams, but the time of the prophecy has come, and once the seal’s broken by blood, there is no turning back.
For the boys, there is no victor. One will win, and the other will lose – everything.

Even his soul.

This is book 1 of a trilogy.

  • Way too long

This book had potential. BUT it was way too long to get into the actual plot. More than half the book was about the main character’s life as a lonely, athletic teenager with hormones. There is no character development- I did not like any of the characters because there just was nothing good that would have made me attached to them. I only really liked Nicholas but even then, I was not attached at all. I give this book 2 stars because half the book literally explained everything and nothing at all. Finishing it was hard.

TOOOOO SLOWWW. I couldn’t finish the torture. I gave it a fair try. Made it to part two ( a miracle) but I just could not get into it. Too highscholish I guess and not interesting enough. Half the story could have easily been left out.

What a tangled web the Gods weave! Sam, who we find out is the Soul Keeper, is a high school student who is part of a Greek prophecy. She must choose between two men, Marcus and Nick, who make up a whole. So much is unfolding that you don't want to put the book down! Can't wait to read the next book!

Ok so I was totally down with reading this since it promised a little bit of everything- romance, mystery and Greek mythology. I admit it starts very slow and I was a bit lost until it picked up but it is so worth it once the book takes off. I mean I love the stories of the Greek gods and loved that the story is based on an old prophecy. I was so into it by the time it took off I couldn't stop reading. I cannot wait to finish this trilogy.

What a beginning to a trilogy. It's heartbreaking, full of suspense. I've been trying to figure out who's deceiving Sam. Love that Greek mythology was used here. Couldn't put the book down. I really looking forward to reading the next part of this trilogy.
