Description

Falling for a guy you love to hate has never been so fun in this "laugh-out-loud funny and crazy sexy" beach read (Meghan March, New York Times bestselling author).

Tori Rivera thinks Jamie McCade is rude, arrogant, and worst of all . . . the sexiest man she's ever laid eyes on. His reputation as a player is almost as legendary as his surfing skills. No matter how her body heats up when he's around, she's determined not to be another meaningless hookup.

Jamie McCade always gets what he wants. The sickest wave. The hottest women. And Tori, with her long legs and smart mouth, is definitely the hottest one. He knows Tori wants him-hell, most women do-but she won't admit it. After months of chasing and one unforgettable kiss, it's time for Jamie to raise the stakes.

Jamie promises that soon Tori won't just want him in her bed, she'll be begging for it-and he might be right. Somehow he's found the spot in her heart that makes her open up like never before. But with all she knows about his past, can she really trust what's happening between them? Is Jamie playing for keeps or just playing to win?

I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book, and I was not disappointed. Jamie and Tori were two of my favorite book characters. I thoroughly enjoyed the back-and-forth between the two, the humor, and also the growing feelings. Hit the Spot was the perfect addition to the Dirty Deeds series, and I can't wait for what's coming next.

If you have never read anything by J. Daniels you are seriously missing out. If you have started the Dirty Deeds series you are missing out as well. Daniels kills it with her lasted novel Hit the Spot. In Four Letter Word, we are introduced to Jamie and Tori. In Hit the Spot we get to find out in detail their story and it's one hell of a story. I enjoyed watching their story play out. When you read you have to ask yourself are you Team Legs or Team Loser? Jamie always wins. He knows it and everyone in his life knows it as well. Too bad Tori doesn't know that. Well she knows that he wins but she is refusing to admit it. I love Jamie's determination to win Tori. I just wished that Tori wasn't so hardheaded when it came to her true feelings for him. It would of made things a lot more easy but one short book. I am definitely Team Loser. I love me some Jamie. I love how he goes after what he wants no matter what it is. I also love how much of a good friend he is. He would go to the moon and back for someone he cares about and isn't scared of what he could lose in the process. He surfs- need I say more. I mean really. While I wanted to LOVE Tori I just couldn't. She annoyed me almost as much as she liked me I am afraid. Every other page all i wanted to do was slap her and be like wake the crap up. Get it together. J. Daniels is truly a talented author! The way she writes stories as if you are the character and getting lost in the story is truly amazing. You can't help but fall in love with her stories and her writing. I am pretty sure you could even fall in love with J. Daniels's grocery list. Hit the Spot is a must read and one that I know I will read again. 4 stars
