The cruel and malevolent Dr. Thaddeus Sivana has succeeded in bringing forth a being of power to help him in his nefarious affairs. Black Adam was the first benefactor of the power granted by the wizard Shazam, and 5,000 years ago he ruled ancient Egypt with an iron fist. Now he is in the present, and only fifteen-year-old Billy Batson has within him the power to stop Black Adam.
