This book is largely a waste. First, the integration of the recorded examples is poor. The book often takes a long time to load and page turns are slow as the ebook tries to fetch the associated media. Further, there’s no way to loop examples so one must constantly re-select play. Worse, the instructor provides absolutely no information on how to construct moveable bass lines or any associated theory that might allow players to actually learn to improvise vice route memorization of very limited forms. In all, this book does a great disservice to rockabilly fans and is unlikely to enhance either one’s playing or knowledge. As an aside, I have yet to find an ebook that’s on par with its hard-copy counterparts in the music arena. This will be my last ebook purchase for music.
