I enjoyed the fourth installment of the Slow Burn Series. I recommend reading the first three books before this one so that you can grasp the intensity of the main characters to better understand the intense situations and dialogue.
I did think the buildup in the beginning half of the book took too long. There seemed to be some parts of Eliza's thought process that was repetitive.
I liked the dynamic between Eliza and Wade. They did take a bit too much time to realize the explosive chemistry is from love not hate.
Overall, the story is full of suspense, passion and a good read.

Really good book. A little too much detail, but a good read.
Very repetitive

I really like Maya Banks books but this one left me feeling meh. I felt like the characters repeated themselves a lot and very one dimensional thought process.
Page turner

Once again Maya Banks does not disappoint! In this 4th installment of the series the main characters are damaged yet compelling people the reader can't help feel for. The story is interesting and the climatic event had me holding my breath to see how it was going to play out. Read it the day it was released...the downside is now having to wait too long for the next installment which will hopefully be Dane's story!
