Praise for previous editions of Philosophy and Education:

"Knight's excellent survey of the relation of education and philosophy deserves serious consideration as a textbook in educational philosophy." --Christianity Today

"Philosophy and Education is characterized by its clear and simple writing style, its orderly and logical presentation, and, above all, by the honesty, modesty, and tentativeness of its claims." --Religious Education

"Philosophy and Education is an excellent source concerning the relationship of philosophy and education. George R. Knight covers the spectrum in philosophy relevant to education. [He] shows how Christian education can be thoroughly Christian instead of just a 'secular pill with a Christian coating.'" --Christian Educators Journal
