I am not into pedophilia

I am not into pedophilia of any kind. I don’t know how this was accepted at the time these books came out. Times have changed and it took all I could do to get through it. The characters in the book didn’t seem that brother by it. Some parts were excessively long. Instead of three book trilogy it could have all been done in one book

This was quite the yarn. A highly original tale which carries the reader around the world and through time, drawing on well-known folklore and legends to create something entirely new.
The story sometimes drags, but never long enough to make the reader give up. There’s a real sense of pleasure in the author’s prose, the enjoyment she drew from spinning out this tale shines through clearly.
A pleasant surprise: the story doesn’t rely on magical action sequences to drive the plot. While the unique world-building is exceptionally strong, the humanity and relationships of the characters is what drives the plot.
A well-told tale which sticks to your ribs.

Started off great but what a terrible ending. What a waste of time!

I read this when I was in my 20s, I love this story. I’m not buying it because they made a tv show about it.

Absolutely love this story. I understand that people are upset by the content, at times, but i loved every word of this trilogy!

I read the first two novels of this trilogy almost ten years ago but could never find the third until now. I'm buying all three so I can read them in sequence. I'm so excited I can hardly wait to start them.

I don't enjoy all Anne Rice books but the series was wonderful. I read it many years ago in hard book and fell in love with it. This bundle is a great deal and now I revisit this world on my iPad all three books no less. Less bulk same enjoyment. If you enjoy supernatrual, fantasy and magic you will enjoy this series.
