A lot of fun at the beginning, but it does go on and the joke wears thin. The editors should have ejected some of the mass.

Scalzi manages to take his premise and make a lovely set of stories of it. So many nice short narratives in this overarching conceit, with enough continuity to keep it together. A delightful read.
