An ex military man, a dog lover and kind to boot is definitely swoon worthy. Great fast connection with a confident woman who knows how to live life to the fullest and show her worth. Loved the dogs and their fun playfulness and willing to learn. The ending was fun especially with the guys ready to be snipped. I loved Mine to Cherish Book 1 of Veteran K9 Team. Cher can’t stop thing of him, the guy from a night six months ago. Why did she leave without giving her name and number. Vale woke up looking for her, he didn’t even know her name and six months later he’s still hoping to find her. Imagine when she ends up being the owner of the dog he has been training. The chemistry is there, the feelings and the future but suddenly he’s pulling back. Will the relationship be over before it really begins? This was such a sweet story and I loved the characters. I absolutely loved this story. Cher is heading overseas for the next 6 months and will be leaving her dog Sookie at a K-9 training center while she is gone. But before she leaves for overseas she and a friend sneak out and she has a one night stand. They never share real names. She never knew that the man who will be training and taking care of Sookie while she is gone was her one night stand. After Cher gets home and gets her dog she gets a call from John Vale who tells her Sookie has shown up at his house and to come and get the dog. Imagine Cher's surprise when she sees John and realizes he is her one night stand. But they both agree that this was never a one night stand, that they had so much more going for them than that one night. This is such a great read, I loved all the characters especially the dogs and John and Cher are so hot together.
