I liked the premise of Rogue Star essentially causing a new ice age. The story was very dramatic and captivating. The obstacles that the survivors had to overcome seemed to be too much. You never knew if they would make it or not. I like that even as the world seemed to be ending, it opened up a door to a new beginning.

Hard to put it down. Fast moving story, with interesting characters. Has many elements of present day life in America. Invasion, politicians only interested in enriching their own lives, government confiscation if weapons in times of emergencies. Fractured family life, family dynamics in times of upheaval much less normal times.

So far you have proven my knowledge that most people are morons and don’t prepare for anything and believe everything their told by the authorities. My frustrations reading are crazy but want to see the outcome of this apocalypse. Will update
