I like this series but she really stretched to write this book. The interaction between Camden and Travis, Mitchz’s son, is cute. The rest of the book is just not good
  • Another great hockey romance

Another winner for Sawyer Bennett. This is a hockey romance with my favorite hockey team, the Pittsburgh Titans. A standalone story that would only be enhanced by reading the other books.Camden is one of the three players that was not on that plane that killed most of the team and he is still suffering from guilt for having been spared. Danika is the widow of one of those players, Mitch, who died in the plane crash. Mitch and Camden were friends so at first Danika was off limits to Camden. But, he kept coming over to her place to help her and also to be a friend to Danika’s son, who plays hockey too. Sparks fly between the two but there is emotional baggage to get through as only Ms Bennett can imagine and write. She brings the reader in to feel all the feels so well. It is why she is one of my favorite authors. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own

Camden, one of the “lucky” three, is struggling. The first anniversary of the plane crash that claimed the lives of his former teammates and friends, is fast approaching. With the anniversary looming, Camden’s survivors guilt kicks in and his nightmares begin to affect his performance. When he oversleeps, due to a nightmare, Coach West intervenes and gives him an ultimatum. Camden must attend the survivor’s grief meeting or be demoted to the third line—jeopardizing his hockey career… Danica, a former friend and widow to one of Camden’s teammate, is doing the best she can to provide her son with all the love and support he needs. When she reconnects with Camden at the survivor’s meeting, she realizes how much she misses her friendship with Camden. But they both have grief and hurdles to overcome before moving on. Another amazing, emotional, heartfelt novel by Sawyer Bennett! I LOVED Camden and Danica!!! This novel was definitely worth the wait. I highly recommend the whole series, so very different in how each team member dealt with unfathomable grief and the strong women who stood by their sides. I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

5 ⭐️ Camden by Sawyer Bennett is the eighth book in the Pittsburg Titans series and all I can say is WOW! Camden is the last of the “lucky 3” with being the last of the surviving players from the Titans plane crash. I honestly could not wait for his book-I knew it was going to be emotional and boy was I right! Camden thought he was doing a good job of grieving and moving forward. It all honesty he really wasn’t. Plagued by survivor’s guilt, he focuses on one of his teammates that he lost surviving wife and son. Little did he know what was in store for him. I loved this book so much. Bennett brought her a-game with not only the characters but with the entire storyline. I could not put it down for the life of me. It is my absolute favorite of the series. Highly recommend reading it!

What do you do when you find yourself falling for your late teammate’s wife, that’s exactly the problem Camden Poe is facing in this next Titan’s book. A sweet heartwarming story filled with beautiful moments, hot sexiness and the undeniable power of love. Camden and Danica are wonderful characters, their relationship grows into something neither expected and it’s absolutely incredible!

This is book eight of the Pittsburgh Titans Series and I have been waiting for Camden’s story and this one definitely didn’t disappoint. Full of heartwarming and heartbreaking moments, that are emotional, tender, aspiring and romantic, as this friends to lovers trope brings a second chance of love to a widow and her son. A beautiful story that brings all the feels and emotions that held me captive until the end. Camden Poe is one of the lucky three players, who weren’t on the fateful flight the night of the tragic crash, that took the entire team’s lives. Although he thought he had grieved and mourned, and accepted that he was granted grace while others were not, as the first anniversary of the Pittsburgh Titans’ plane crash gets closer, he is plagued with more nightmares and they’ve gotten worse. With his job on the line his coach gives him an ultimatum. He must attend the next support group for all the loved ones and friends left behind, which is now more of a social network where they meet every Sunday afternoon and talk. And that is where he sees her again. Danica Brandt lost her husband Mitch when that plane went down. In the last year she and her son (9yo)Travis have struggled to put their loss behind them. She stayed in Pittsburgh and continues to go to the Sunday support get-togethers that have helped her immensely, since Brienne Norcross the owner of the Pittsburgh Titans started them. After struggling with finances after the tragedy, she was thrilled as well as apprehensive, when she was selected to run a new charity Brienne created and named after her brother called the Adam Norcross Charitable Foundation. She will be the face of this new global foundation that is for dependents, professional athletes and support staff, who have either died or become incapacitated and can’t play anymore. And it’s for all sports not just hockey. When Camden runs into Danica at the get-together he offers to come and help her son with some hockey tips, but he also eagerly accepts her invitation to help her with an upcoming sponsor event for the charity. Danica is so busy trying to give Travis a good life and work a new career, dating and relationships are far down on her list of priorities. Until on Camden’s 26th birthday, Danica goes to the celebration and when he walks her to her car they almost kiss. These two struggle with their growing feelings for one another but their chemistry is sizzling. Omg! All the butterflies, giddiness… the excitement of being near each other will have you squirming in your seat. But what will Camden do when he starts to feel guilty? What will his teammates think? You will have to read to find out all the juicy details. Loved these three together! I received an early copy and this is my honest review.
