This is probably the greatest chess textbook on the market. What really makes it so great is the fact that it isn't exclusively for children or adults, but a perfect in between for both. This made learning chess so enjoyable for me, and I am now becoming a much better chess player and having fun while doing it!

I would definitely recommend this iBook to anyone learning chess, wanting to improve at chess or who just plain loves chess! IGM Shulman has done an outstanding job making it fun and easy for kids to learn the "King of all games!" This iBook is equivalent to his written text by the same name and I have been purchasing it and giving it as a gift to my patients for years. One of my goals as a pediatrician is to have kids learn chess as it helps build critical thinking skills. This iBook will make that task so much easier! Definite 5 star recommendation! As an elementary school teacher, I am always looking for new resources in my classroom. This is a great resource to motivate students to try and learn chess independently. The ease of use on the Ipad and the interactive diagrams and illuminating graphics really engage students and provide them with a resource to learn something new on their own. I would definitely buy this book for a class or school Ipad set!
