If you have read anything by Edgar Rice Burroughs hours, especially the “mars series, “you will know that his style is OK, though the books are very similar to one another. He likes to prolong the misery and pain, I dare say. But his writing is good. At least, in this book, John Carter was finally once again reunited with his love. Overall, I recommend

John Carter is a classic. This is a fun and easy ready.

As always,E.R.Burrows is top shelf, as good as it gets. A hundred years later only shows he knew much of the future we now know yet dreamed so much more. Hale him now as he had John Carter hailed, Conquer of a world.

Wonderful read. Action packed and very descriptive. Burroughs was well before his time and I can only imagine the wondrous workings of his mind/thoughts.

I should have read the Barsoom series a long time ago, but.... This is a fitting next chapter in the John Carter series. It is classic Borroughs. OK, now on to the next one...

Had never considered reading this series, but OH so glad I did. Absolutely EXCELLENT!

If you didn't think much of science fiction, these are good readable stories.
