I stole this book from my mom when I was young so I could read it. I loved it then and I love it now. Jude Devereux is truly timeless.

The plot involves spousal rape. She stays with him and loves him. Disturbing.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve read this book. And I enjoy it every time. It’s my “go to “ when there isn’t anything I’m interested in. And it’s my “go to” when I want to read the characters story just one more time. And I always enjoy it “just one more time.”

I’ve had this book for years and always enjoy revisiting it

This is one of my favorite books by this author. It a great love story.

I struggled to finish this. The story was slow and failed to excite. Snooze! Go for something else. Save yourself the money. This was silly drama, shallow characters and mediocre story line.

Jude always delights and this tale is wonderful
