This is the most enjoyable book I’ve read in quite a while. The characters are endearing/charming, the dialog —both internal & external, is hilarious. I laughed out loud so often. This is the second Julie Garwood book I’ve read and while I thoroughly enjoyed “Guardian Angel”, “The Gift” is even better. It would have achieved perfection if only Uncle Harry (from Guardian Angel) had made a brief appearance. It seems like it’s harder than ever to enjoy a truly hearty laugh, so this book was the true gift.

I was on a 3 hour flight home and I was laughing out loud so much, people were asking what I was reading. This book was a very entertaining read! Thank you for making me laugh! I don't usually do reviews, but I thought this fun romantic novel deserve a review. It is an easy light hearted romantic story with a great sense of humor! It's worth the buy! This is third book of a four books series you don't need to read all four to enjoy. Title of the series are: The Lion's Lady, Guardian Angel, The Gift, and Castles.

This was the best book in the series. I was actually laughing out loud. Glad I was reading it at home instead of in public. Hope JG starts another historical series soon.
