This book, in my opinion, is very well written with a great storyline that shows a deep love by the author for Star Trek…especially Vulcan. The relationship between Spock and Sarek is very reminiscent of how Sarek and Spock are portrayed in the original JJ Abrams Star Trek movie (once Vulcan was destroyed). Though written in the 1980’s, I feel “Vulcan Academy Murders” could be a ‘timeless classic’ for Star Trek fans.
