I could only get 33% through it because I just can’t handle Samantha. She’s not a likable person and it’s not believable that a smart man like him would love or like her. She has shown NOTHING for him to have feelings for her other than being ab absolute JERK!! I don’t like reading books when one of the characters is THAT BAD for THAT LONG.

Love this book I have read it several times since it was published... I have it in paperback... I would love it digitally but $16+ for a digital book that isn't a text book just isn't worth it, it doesn't even cost that much to buy a physical copy again...

Ok really? The book started out ok, but it got old really quickly. First of all, Mike is actually a jerk. He orders Sam around, but then calls her baby so it's ok! He is made out to be this wonderful person, but he lies to Sam throughout the entire book and seems to think nothing of it. What's worse is, Sam KNOWS he's lying and she continues putting up with it! The author's use of the word for annoyed me! Everything was for she knew this and for he knew that. Perhaps the author should use a thesaurus and see if she can find another word! Don't waste your time.

Couldn't put down with romance and mystery together loved it

Most exciting book I have read in a while, Jude Devereaux stories make me wish I could be part of the story. When Sam was walking the streets of New York, I was there with her.... Can't say enough bout how I enjoyed this book, guess I'll have to read it again just like all her other books..... Deb

This story is the best story since Knight in Shining Armor written by this author! I have read this book many times and it still makes me laugh and cry every time.
