I first read these sacred books, particularly the Book of Mormon, as a teenager. Had been raised a strong southern Baptist and prayed to God, in the name of Christ if it was true. My prayer was answered and I joined the Church. My entire family of six joined within the year. That was forty years ago this year. Judge by the fruit. Any look at my own or siblings, or parents will testify that the "fruit" has been good. And we love and work hard in the community with all of our Christian friends from other Christian faiths ( baptist, catholic, evangelical, Methodist, Lutheran, etc) to improve our communities and turn them back to Christ so we might save our Republic and liberty. That's because adherence to Fundamental moral, Christian principle is the life blood of our nation and freedom. So, we gave nothing up. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. He is the author of and only path to salvation in Father in Heaven's kingdom. This is what the Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-day Saints teaches. I love reading the Book of Mormon along with my King James Bible and receiving strong witness of Jesus Christ from both. I love knowing that God in Heaven and His Son, Jesus Christ restored the fulness of their gospel to the earth to prepare for Christ's second coming.

This gives a pretty accurate teaching of what the LDS church believes and includes what any LDS person would need for church or personal reading, except for the bible. Over all I like it and it is better than the free generic copy.
