  • About twice as long as it needed to be

Pretty typical Nora Roberts story- usually entertaining by following her typical storyline. This book, however, was weighed down by repetitive scenes between the romantic leads that made the story drag on too long by about 200 pages. If you’re familiar with her work you’ll guess the villain by the time the second act starts.
  • Great love story in twinned with death.

Loved this book the most due to all the nature, flowers, trees and other aspect and details about nature. Learned a lot about trees and flowers in this book.

The characters are strong in their own unique way. The mystery is played out over time. The finale and suspense certainly pulls it all together and makes this book another great read.
  • Not as good as her others

I liked the surprise ending, but for most of the rest of the book before that I felt like the hero and heroine should not be together.

One thing I love about Nora Roberts is her wonderful descriptions that pull you into her stories. This is one of those stories that are so hard to put down. The characters are so human, far from perfect, and relatable. I always enjoy the plot twists she throws out, and this didn’t disappoint.

Boring. The male lead is obnoxious, and the female is an absolute wimp, even though she’s billed as some kind of strong, independent woman.
  • Nora Roberts does it again.

Feels like I have no words, but then again I do. Thrilling. Moving. Suspenseful. On my top 3 list along with "The Obsession”.
