Across the country, women are being murdered, victims of a disciplined and clever killer who leaves no trace evidence, no fatal wounds, no signs of struggle, and no clues to an apparent motive. They are, truly, perfect crimes. In fact, there’s only one thing that links the victims. Each one of the women knew Jack Reacher—and it’s got him running blind.

Different from most Reacher books but still a great read. My favorite of the series up to this point. Lots of twists and the ending was not something I saw coming. It may not be for you, but it’s definitely worth a shot!

It was a possibility with twists and turns that made it a great conclusion

  • Not your typical Reacher novel that’s for sure.

Not your typical Reacher novel that’s for sure. Reacher usually finds trouble and fixes it. This time the fix gets him into the middle of something big.
  • Boring.

Let’s wrap it up with a pretty bow at the end. Not good.

I had read some of the books in this series as stand alone stories, but I decided to start at the beginning with the 1st in the series and read the entire series in order. If you haven’t already been reading the series in order, I strongly recommend it. Lee Child has a way of bringing his characters to life, but with each new book, he reveals more and more of Jack’s character, warts and all. I intend to continue reading each and every book in this series. Thank you Lee Child. For avid readers such as I, your characters are true portrayals of the human race

Pretty obvious outcome from early in the book. Only reason it was a page turner was to get done with it.... not a whole lot of action; not a believable plot.

So far I’ve read 4 of the Jack Reacher series. Loved them all and look forward to reading them all. Reacher has a unique outlook on life...no anchors.

This was my first read by Lee Child. I am not impressed. It was somewhat refreshing to see a different style of writing. Unlike the usual, cliché monster male serial killer, it was a female this time. But it was way too unrealistic. The way he laid the Plot just did not add up. And hypnotism, seriously? Is that the best you could come up with? Should’ve put it under fantasy fiction
